CAMP WANDAWEGA, A CAMP FOR ADULTS

We created a bold, unconventional experience to promote Camp Wandawega, earning our Ogilvy & Mather team a Bronze Cannes Lion Award, where I served as the sole Art Director on the project.

We pushed creative boundaries, exploring sensitive and challenging spaces. Our photo series promoted the playful spirit of Camp Wandawega with a street-art twist, capturing attention throughout Chicago just before "Exit Through the Gift Shop" made street art mainstream. My Creative Director, Tereasa Surratt, discovered the talented Todd Baxter, a photo-realistic digital illustrator and photographer, and entrusted me with art direction for this unique campaign. I handled location scouting, directed the shoot, embraced the thrill of guerrilla art, and brought the photo series to life.

Roles: Strategy and planning, art direction, photo shoot and experiential direction, design, and hands-on activation.
